Since I found out that I’m actually working nights while I’m here in Utah (SURPRISE!), I figured I’d make use of my day time for some exploring. Yesterday I went for a drive East through Johnson Pass and enjoyed the wonderful empty road through there. Very fun mountain pass in the STi. Hoping to do some hiking today to get even more views up there.

After my dirt road adventures yesterday, a proper car wash and some photos on a twisty road was surely in order.

Some beautiful weather here too. In the morning it was around 60F and didn’t start climbing until the afternoon. Looking forward to how it’ll be even cooler up in the mountains East of SLC over the weekend for some real adventuring.

Utah is odd, especially as you get out of SLC and Park City , but the scenery is amazing.

Haha yah. I say the same thing about home in California a lot of the times too. I'm a big fan of nice scenery though, I could care less about the rest usually. But yeah Utah certainly has some further oddities than other pretty places.

California ain’t got nothing on Utah’s stranger aspects, but yeah it is a great spot and there are some really great people there too.

I f you’re looking for a good place, there’s a great spot down in Cottonwood Heights on Fort Union Blvd. called Lone Star Taqueria that does amazing fish tacos for some reason. Look for the beat up and stickered to death Malibu wagon with a shark fin.
